In a heartfelt video, she clarified her relationship with Rahman, describing him as a “father figure” and expressing her deep respect and admiration for him. “I am fortunate to have several father figures and role models in my life, who have played important roles in my upbringing. AR Rahman is one of them. I respect him immensely; he is like a father to me,” Dey shared in the video.
She also pointed out that Rahman’s daughter is close to her age, further emphasizing the familial bond they share. Dey highlighted the mutual respect and affection that has developed over the years, both professionally and personally.
